There is no rust, anywhere. This is American-Made steel, the original. It's the kind of body parts that are not made anymore.
The rack is Schedule 40 USA-made structural flex steel.
In 1989 it cost $15,000 to build the rack and the bed.
Today, this little "custom bed" job would cost you over $40,000 ... just for the bed & rack.
If you want a new truck like this, and could pay somebody to make a truck that can do what this truck does today
- then be ready to pay $80,000 to $90,000 for it.
